Personalized Ceramic Pie Plates

One day, years ago, I was looking for a ceramic pie plate I could paint to match my kitchen. I could not find anything I liked anywhere. Coming home from a weekend away, my aunt and I ended up at a pottery store along the highway....you know, the ones that sell the terra cotta pots and nick nacks and souvenirs. I was just browsing around when I saw the terra cotta planter saucers.....they had big ones that looked just like pie dishes! I was so excited! I brought a few home, fired them, glazed them and fired them again. And I have been using them as pie dishes for baking here at home ever since.
Once the terra cotta has been fired to a hotter temperature, it becomes very dense and heavy, like stoneware. This dense "stoneware" pie plate holds the heat after you take it from the oven....keeping things warm for serving. These ceramic pie plates are a fun and unique way to serve hot dips, cold dips, pot pies and even desserts!
Hand painted in Americana, Watermelon or Stoneware finishes, our Pie Plates are also oven and dishwasher safe.

New to our pie dishes is a Traditional Fluted Pie Dish. Approximately 10" across and 2" deep, this is a great addition to our bakeware. Available in any of our dinnerware patterns, this pie dish starts at $34.00.
Orders are currently shipping approximately 2-3 weeks after being placed. Please allow an additional 3-4 days for the U.S. Postal Service to deliver your order to you.

International Orders:
flat rate to CANADA: $18.00 per order
