Will winter never end???

I recently got back from a vacation in sunny florida. Okay, florida in january isn't all that sunny or warm , but it was better than SW pennsylvania, which is pretty cold and depressing after a while. and now it is march 1st and we still have several inches of snow on the ground. argh. and on top of that, business has been slow. so, lots of snow and no new orders, well that leads to a life of boredom. and so I thought I would start a blog. at least I would have something to do....

I can't promise any useful insights into working at home....I usually fly by the seat of my pants : ) But maybe I can offer a window into my life. Which may sound glamorous (well not really) and interesting, but is generally dull and boring. The same routine over and over....really, people think when you work at home, well, you aren't really working. I have to say I have never worked so hard in my life. Working at home gives you flexibilty, but it also allows you to work at all hours of the day and night. It can be all consuming.....or it can be a downright drag. Right now it is a drag because it is slow. But I have other things to do....family and house stuff that gets put off. Like dusting....have a ceramic business in your basement creates quite a lot of dust. I have to laugh, the clear light fixtures in the kitchen look like they are frosted glass because they are so dusty. I guess I'll wash them sometime soon.

And enough for my first rambling post....please know that I am a terrible typist. I am an excellent speller, but I can't control my fingers. So if you find typos, forgive me, I am much better with a paintbrush.
